"Breathtaking HD video": This app contains roughly 9 video clips (hopefully, royalty-free). The length of the clips range from 2 to 9 minutes with the average length being about 3 1/2 minutes long. The resolution of these clips are either 960x540 or 1280x720, respectively. Blown up to fill my iMacs 1920x1200 screen creates noticeable pixelation.
"Built in music": Some of the music located in the Contents folder seems to be credited - I kid you not - to the World of Goo soundtrack and to a band known as Razordoll (I hope he has a license to use these). The other music is either credited to the apps creator or is uncredited.
"Interactive encyclopedia": I wont say that the apps "Animal Info" is a lazy, copyright-infringing cut-and-paste job from the Internet, but it is interesting that, say, a *complete paragraph* from the Lemon Shark "Animal Info" can also be found on sharks-world dot com slash lemon_shark.
The concept of this app is interesting but the execution of the "breathtaking High Definition" video, the "built in music" and the "interactive encyclopedia" is, shall we say, compromised.
