This app force me to unplug my computer!

This has never happened to me before. My Mac OS X 10.7.3 - 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 Go 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM has always been very stable. I have all the latest updates installed. Once downloaded (which took forever - in spite of the fact im on High-Speed internet with optic cables, I launched the software. Then, all hell broke loose. I had to unplug my computer. I could not do anything. The rainbow ball was just turning and turning and turning…
This app is a waste of time and money.
